The lab looks at everything from technology that helps associates run stores more efficiently to IoT. The lab has tested technologies internationally, at local stores and within the lab itslef at Walmart’s headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas.
“As part of Walmart Technology, Lab 415-C actively seeks to engage emerging technology in order to better understand how to serve our customers,” said Tom Douglass, director of Walmart Lab 415-C. “Our goal in the event is not only to offer these companies a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, but to keep Walmart on the cutting edge of technology.”

Lab 415-C will be hosting an information session prior to the pitch event.
“Our open call event is a great opportunity for companies to pitch their innovations to the largest retailer in the world,” said Douglass. “I can’t wait to see what ideas and inventions we’ll discover!”
