The Niswonger Foundation, in partnership with East Tennessee State University’s Department of Computing, is providing a third-annual summer opportunity for students to learn and practice coding skills.
Week-long camps in the summers of 2014 and 2015 welcomed nearly 200 participants, who learned to apply the logic involved in coding, take pride in their projects and even choose a career path in an in-demand area of the workforce.
This summer, additional camps will offer significant enhancements, with 2016 classes offering students choices from among a wider range of coding options, including game creation, developing web applications, working with digital media and more.
