Successful East Tennessee Fishing Technology Company Acquired
Johnson City, TN – May 29 – Connect Outdoors forms and their first order of business is to acquire Blountville company ConnectScale. Connect Outdoors will serve the outdoor recreation industry, a $400B a year industry with innovative products and services. The founders of Connect Outdoors immediately acquire three-year-old Blountville company, ConnectScale. ConnectScale started with creating the 1st Bluetooth Fishing Scale and integrated logging app and recently launched a Software-as-a-Service platform to manage fishing tournaments. ConnectScale is the highest rated fishing app (4.8/5) on the Apple app store and has grown revenue each year.

ConnectScale to Provide Tournament Platform for Middle Tennessee Fishing Club
Johnson City, TN – June 10 – W. Scott Morris, Connect Outdoors VP of Tournament Operations announces a partnership with Tennessee’s largest high school fishing club, Mount Juliet Fishing Club. Connect Outdoors will help the club with fundraising, boat captain coordination, a parental and audience watch platform, and student bio-resumes. In exchange, the club will provide product feedback and will create pictures and videos for the company’s social media efforts.

Connect Outdoors recently launched a real-time fishing tournament platform at the Battle of Chick in Dayton, Tennessee.
