Johnson City CO.STARTERS graduate, Meredith Sieber, recently launched her website for The Southern Jewel.
The Southern Jewel is an online boutique that offers locally sourced artisan jewelry, accessories and home decor from the Appalachian region and nationwide. They believe in supporting local economies and providing hardworking artisans the ability to share their craft with the world. The artisans have created unique products that they have poured their heart and soul into and The Southern Jewel wants to share that story with their customers. Most pieces carried are one-of-a-kind and they won’t be able to be duplicated or reproduced with the exact fashions that were used to create them.
“CO.STARTERS helped me to understand the fundamental steps to starting a business especially on a small scale,” said Meredith. “It also helped me network within the community. Being new to this area, I was able to meet with key business leaders in the Tri-Cities and that has helped me learn and grow with my business.”
