LaunchTN’s The TENN Master Accelerator program kicked off their tour last Monday at the Meadowview Conference Center. Over a hundred people came out to this event to hear these eight entrepreneurs’ five-minute pitches.
“All of the entrepreneurs were very intelligent and knew a lot about their topics,” said HBDC Director, Keith Nakoff. “There was not a question left unanswered.”
Avrio Analytics, Everly, Grow Bioplastics, MomSource Network, Rendever, RootsRated. SweetBio, and Utilize Health all represented a diverse group of mature companies during this years TENN Tour.
“There was an impressive cast of companies,” said Woody Boyd, Owner of Symbiotic Devices. “This speaks to Tennessee’s ability to attract businesses and we are not lacking any infrastructure to support them.”
After the presentations, each company was invited to speak for the Angel Roundtable. There were also 8-10 local entrepreneurs that were present at this event that were able to witness the process of pitching to investors.
“I am glad that the event was open to the community, said Arnab Chakraborty, Flow MedTech. ” I look forward to these entrepreneurs hearing about all of the resources we have in Northeast Tennessee.”
